What is an outlaw?

An outlaw is a person who has broken the law and is considered to be outside of the legal system. Outlaws may be involved in activities such as robbery, theft, murder, or other criminal behavior. They often operate outside of traditional society and may be difficult to track down or capture. Outlaws may be seen as romantic figures in popular culture, particularly in the Western genre, but in reality, their actions often harm innocent people and disrupt social order. Some famous outlaws throughout history include Jesse James, Billy the Kid, and Bonnie and Clyde.
